Our recruitment divisions have dominated their specialist markets right from the start. In 2009, having amassed over 60 years of experience between them, three of our UK businesses came together under the name Morgan McKinley. Now, we provide employers and jobseekers with access to an even broader range of talent and opportunities across all our office locations. However, we are not stopping there; our ambition is to be the best in the business.

How did we get here?

The Morgan McKinley brand was formed in the UK in 1995 as a banking and financial services recruitment consultancy to provide the UK’s leading financial institutions with the highest calibre candidates for positions at all levels of seniority. The business was built on a unique contingent search model with each specialist team having a dedicated researcher at its core.

A decade later, Morgan McKinley was firmly established as the UK’s number one financial services recruitment specialist and a preferred supplier to the major players in investment banking and the financial services sector. Eager to grow an international presence to match its UK reputation, Morgan McKinley opened offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan following the 2005 acquisition by Imprint Plc.

Brought about by the merger, ECHM, a specialist financial recruitment company with over 20 years’ experience in commerce and industry, public practice, taxation and the public and not-for-profit sectors joined the fold. This complemented Morgan McKinley’s service offering perfectly and the new Group went from strength to strength, soon becoming the fastest growing public recruitment company in Europe.

Morgan McKinley and ECHM continued to dominate their respective recruitment markets over the next three years, picking up industry awards and opening new offices in the Netherlands and Australia. This took its market share both in the UK and internationally to new heights.

In 2008, recruitment services firm Premier Group acquired Morgan McKinley. The combination of the two businesses resulted in the Group becoming a global market leader in professional recruitment with 24 offices across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. Morgan McKinley and ECHM then joined with Nigel Lynn, Premier Group’s UK accountancy and finance brand. Nigel Lynn has been operating in the commerce and industry space since 1990 and has a network of nine offices in the UK.

In April 2009, along with ECHM, Nigel Lynn became integrated under the Morgan McKinley brand. Together, our ambition is to be the best professional recruitment consultancy globally.
