Job Description
Morgan McKinley is looking to hire a senior audit professional for this fast-growing European retail organisation.
This role will encompass:
- Responsibility for all of the internal audit for this multinational retail organisation
- Compliance with International Accounting Standards
- Using substantive tests to check accuracy of year-end balances
- Ensuring that all purchase orders are in adherence to company policy
- Establish and monitor KPIs relating to stock management etc
- Liaising with key management to provide added value and make continuous improvements
Key requirements:
- Strong external audit experience for a Big Four accounting firm, ideally with retail clients
- Ideally experience as an internal auditor for a retail organisation
- Strong commercial acumen - ability to understand overall business dynamics
- Fluent English; Cantonese and Mandarin would be helpful too
- High in energy, drive and ability to think laterally
- Articulate, numerate and detail oriented
