Supply Chain Director: Retail

Job Description

A multinational retail organisation is seeking a Supply Chain Director to oversee both replenishment and stock administration.

This is a newly created position owing to the business' growth. You will play a strategic role in translating the business strategy into supply chain solutions ensuring the right items in the right stores with the correct volumes. You will continuously improve the cost efficiency of Supply Chain and propose solutions to any inefficiencies that you identify.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Have 7-10 years retail experience in logistics or as a service provider
• Background in project and operations management where storage space is limited
• A university degree in (MBA/Logistics) with some overseas education
• Fluent spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin preferred
• Familiarity with operating environment in Greater China
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to think strategically
• An audit or accounting background would be advantageous.
