• Core responsibility in financial control and regulatory reporting
• Maintain proper financial books and records, and ensure compliance with Citigroup accounting policies, US and HK (IFRS) GAAPs
• Complete month-end closing within a tight deadline
• Perform analytical reviews, account reconciliation and deliver financial (routine and ad hoc) to senior management
• Actively involved in the balance Sheet review and legal entity management process
• Compile various regulatory reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements imposed by US and local regulators (HKMA, SFC, etc.)
• Work closely with the other functions such as Product Controllers /Operations / Financial Reporting Operating Units (offshore)
• Liaise with Internal and external auditors
• Assist in special projects (e.g. IFRS, Basel II, US SOX) as assigned
• Continuous improvement in the financial reporting processes

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Excel & Word
• Fluently spoken and written English essential
• Good accounting knowledge on commercial banking and / or capital markets or related work experience
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive "team player" attitude required
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn
• University/College graduate or above; qualified CPA (preferred) and with 6 - 7 years financial accounting/regulatory reporting - related experience.
