Japanese Investment Analyst

Our client is a leading Asset Management firm focusing investment for their energy fund. The potential candidate should be a Qualified Accountant with debt restructuring experience, and excellent language skill for Japanese, English and Mandarin is required.

Reporting to the Managing Director and supporting the Portfolio Manager based in Hong Kong, the potential candidate will be using strong accounting, quantitative and qualitative analytical tools to strip down companies' revenue, costs, tax and balance sheet data and evaluate investment opportunities, working with the team in making or evaluating investment decisions and identifying opportunities in the Asia Pacific Market-mainly Japan and Korea

• 5-7 years combined experience in both Corp Finance and/or Private Equity an advantage

• Excellent technical skills: financial modelling, valuation, projections, benchmarking etc.

• Proven ability to then arrive at conviction calls, long or short on stocks.

• 5-7 years combined experience in both Corp Finance and/or Private Equity an advantage

• Qualified Accountant qualification is a must and CFA is a plus

• Fluent Japanese, English and Mandarin is required and Korean is a plus
