Equity Derivatives Application Support

Our client a top financial institution is currently seeking a strong application support professional to be a part of their existing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

(i)                  Handle all application level requests raised from the front office users (includes sales traders, manual execution dealers, electronic execution dealers, program traders) and make any changes if necessary, which include:

a.       OMS support

b.      Program trading system support

c.       Client side FIX communication support

d.      Market side FIX communication support

e.       Database operation on application level

f.        User account maintenance (for technical, business, compliance purpose)

(ii)                Liaise with development and support teams across the Asia Pacific region for system rollout, system deployment and aid in UAT testing

(iii)               Build support documents for existing systems

(iv)              support traders from broker firms, handling their questions regarding orders, trades, allocation, settlement

(v)                supporting IT staff from bank to help them solving technical issue on their customised trading platform

Strong knowledge on trading system (includes systems for: order management, trade management, position management, trade allocation and confirmation, basket trading, global FIX connectivity, market data, user authentication, user workstation customisation)

Good knowledge on trading flow on equities

Good knowledge on FIX protocol

Good knowledge on exchanges in Asia-Pacific region

Extensive hands-on experience with Fidessa

Relational database operations (Sybase)

Experienced in handling OG related issues for Hong Kong Stock Exchange

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
