Senior Regional Business Analyst (Financial Systems)

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for projects related to financial systems upgrades or implementations

- Liaise with IT and Finance as the bridge for knowledge transfer and communication

- Prepare business cases for new project initiatives

- Evaluate and propose enhancements for existing financial systems, partnering with IT and vendors

- Develop user manuals and training materials

- Provide training and post-implementation support to the user groups

- Assist users in automating local reporting requirements

- Manage changes to data collection templates, metadata structures, user security, load data, and create reports using TM1 and Cognos

- Coordinate with IT and Finance on reporting guidelines and requirements

- Ensure regional and global reporting standards

- Create/enforce practices in financial system e.g. COA / allocation rules, etc.

Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information systems

- Strong knowledge of financial software such as TM1, Axapta, Hyperion, and Cognos are a plus

- Minimum 5 years professional experience in system implementation/administration or financial controlling

- Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, consolidation, and reporting software

- Solid understanding of accounting and business processes

- Strong technical and analytical skills are required to troubleshoot consolidation and reporting issues

- Full understanding of system logic/processes is required to independently resolve problems

- Experience in developing training materials and lead training sessions

- Strong communication skills with multiple levels of management

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player

- High proficiency in PC skills, particularly MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

- Occasional travel is required
