Finance Controller - Professional Services Firm

Job Description

Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Financial Controller for a multinational professional services firm.  This is a regional position based in Hong Kong The Finance Director will review plans, budgets, and monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and resolution, for specific practice groups and support functions.  You will prepare local statutory audits, tax queries and compliance as well as develop controls to ensure data is recorded into the financial system in an accurate and timely manner.  You will also assist the COO in monitoring office cash flow and providing timely and up-to-date reports so on asset management and financing, working capital requirements, cash flow management and balance sheet financing. In order to be considered for this role you must possess a degree and a professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body.  You must have six to eight years of relevant experience gained in a multinational law firm and have an ability to interact with senior partners.  It would be preferable if you can speak Cantonese and Mandarin although fluent written and spoken English is vital.'
