Job Description

Main responsibilities

• Involved with all aspects of trade support including Trade entry, Trade revisions & Trade Reconciliations.
• Working closely with Front office on any issues that may require your assistance.
• To be involved with helping the team grow.
• Resolving Trade discrepancies with counterparties, traders & confirmations team.
• Participate in new product reviews, global projects and UAT.
• Static data set ups - new curves for new products.
• Investigate and resolve trade position breaks.
• Liaise with credit, legal, on boarding teams and static data teams to ensure no unauthorized trades are allowed.
• Monitor trade life cycle events.
• Liaise with product valuation group, accounting policy group and finance for the implementation and maintenance of valuation methodologies for non-vanilla commodity instruments for daily market to market purposes.
• Actively liaise with support partners viz. Settlements, Confirmations, Credit, Legal, IT, Compliance, and Accounting teams to resolve issues & provide solution.
• Stay close to the traders to learn the types of deals they are doing in order to anticipate booking and implications of any downstream processes.
• Actively contribute in rolling out new business initiatives and projects.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in OTC derivaitves ideally, fixed income derivatives, middle office.
• With Knowledge of the following products types: Interest rate swaps, Cross currency swaps, overnight Index Swaps would be ideal.
• Working knowledge of OTC Derivative front -to-back workflow.
• Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities/projects.
• Ability to work under pressure, working to deadlines and dealing with high volumes.
• Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal.
