• Lead Management in the financial analysis of the front office covering branch, product (including pricing reviews), banker and client profitability.
• Support Management in the analysis of the cost structure of the front office and making recommendations to improve cost efficiencies
• Support Management in the analysis of client groups by segmentation and profitability and making recommendations to improve client focus
• Tracking and analysing business initiatives and making recommendations to Management to ensure targets are achieved
• Actively working with the Market Heads and market heads on strategic initiatives and supporting them with high-quality financial analysis
• Provide Management insightful financial analysis of key growth initiatives including banker hiring and branch expansion. This will include creatively analysing Team performance and understanding its key drivers.
• Actively support Management on other key growth initiatives through detailed investment/financial analysis and the preparation of business cases.
• Tracking and analysing business initiatives and making recommendations to Management to ensure targets are achieved.
• Support the development of the DS model across the region.

Job Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience
• Degree qualified, CPA/CA/MBA qualifications would be ideal
• Fair knowledge and previous experience in Wealth Management (Private banking/Affluent banking) would be beneficial
• Experience in business planning/forecasting and management information reporting
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work through ambiguity and come up with well-reasoned recommendations
• Able to connect strategy with finance - think big picture but yet strong on financial details
• Strong financial modelling capabilities with excellent knowledge of Excel
• Excellent team and interpersonal skills, able to work with diverse stakeholders.
