Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

Offering a comprehensive range of individual life products, including protection and wealth accumulation products, my client is one of the leading players in the Hong Kong financial services market and is looking to appoint a Senior Analyst to join their local actuarial team.

Major Accountabilities:
• To be responsible for monthly CGAAP valuation
• To liaise with IT for valuation data issue
• To provide support to business plan and DCAT projection
• To provide support to auditor request
• To support the monthly net income variance analysis and monthly net income forecast
• To provide Embedded Value and its analysis of changes timely and accurately
• To be responsible for MCCSR forecast and projection
• To prepare and perform analysis on annual Mortality study

Requirements:
• Degree holder in Actuarial Science or equivalent
• Associate level of actuarial societies
• At least 3 to 4 years experience in actuarial operation within a life insurance organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent knowledge in AXIS
• Familiar with key actuarial concepts and their applications as well as able to build and maintain complex and innovative models to solve business problems
• Attention to details and high accuracy
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
