Actuarial Analyst - P&C

Job Description

Join the Property & Casualty team of this Global leader. Providing actuarial support and expertise your role will ensure that the P&C business in Asia is appropriately reserved and monitored, in addition to making reserving recommendations. This team is instrumental in the production of US GAAP and EVM financial results, whilst ensuring that all local regulatory requirements for reserving complied with. The team also provides suggestions/recommendations to risk management on large transactions for Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Quarterly portfolio monitoring - US GAAP reserving and regional
• Statutory reserving and reports
• Additional regulatory requirements - stress testing, etc
• Audit requirements - prepare information and data required by the auditors
• EVM - set cash flow patterns for discounting purposes
• Projects - costing reserving linkage, etc

Requirements

• Degree in actuarial studies, mathematics, finance or comparable quantitative education
• AIA, AIAA or equivalent
• 3-4 years experience in P&C actuarial experience.
• Experienced with Excel, Word, VBA
• Motivated, proactive team player, eye for detail, excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
