multinational company who runs 5 different businesses in Asia.
Due to the fast growth of the business in Shanghai,
and across China,
our client opened this Finance Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the Finance & Controlling
Department (FCD) operations and the finance team of the financial services
arm in China. - To bring along the financial services
industrial experience to the business in order to support the rapid
expansion whilst maintaining a balance between operational efficiency and
controls in line with compliance requirements. Provide timely and accurate
reports to meet internal and external requirements, and assist management
decisions. - Develop and supervise the FCD functions of the
financial services business - Implement and uphold the company policies and
regulations - Solid responsibilities of accounting,
planning, taxation, treasury, controlling, reporting and compliance - Develop and provide management analytical
reviews to assist management to make manage the business and assess its
business performance - Review and update the process & procedures
to continuously improve the efficiency of the operation and highlight any
deficiencies of the practice - Other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Professionally qualified in financial and
accounting fields - Must have worked in financial services
industry and previous exposure with China business - Good language skills: English and Chinese
- Good at computer skills on Microsoft Office e.g.
Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and familiar with finance or accounting software - At least 10 years finance work experience with
China
exposure, familiar with the working procedures of financial services industry - Experience in managing finance functions and
operate a team in the financial services industry with strong sense of
internal controls - Experience in dealing with banks and arranging
bank lines advantageous - Previous working experience in international
enterprises preferred - Good communication and coordination skills.
